FIRST CALL EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The EAP provides confidential counseling and referral services to help you or a family member with things like marital challenges, depression/anxiety, legal or financial concerns, stress, substance abuse, and more. The EAP also provides unlimited access to a Lifestyle Expert Referral tool to be your personal assistant in things like finding service providers, heath info and more. Another benefit provided through Hartford is funeral planning, and advocacy/concierge services and professional negotiation of funeral prices. ABILITY ASSIST COUNSELING SERVICES
Caring for a loved one has an impact on our mental wellbeing, with 70% of unpaid caregivers in the US reporting at least one mental health symptom. To help support you, Ability Assist Counseling Services offers access to degreed clinicians any hour of the day. This includes three face-to-face visit per occurrence per year for your emotional concerns as well as access to unlimited phone consultations for financial legal and work-life concerns. REQUESTING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Noventa Corp offers up to four weeks of Paid Family Leave to employees who are new parents and for employees who may need to take time off to care for family members with qualifying illnesses. The program is administered by The Hartford. To request a leave, call 888-982-7929 8am-9am ET, M-F.

PCA ADULT DAY SERVICES: available through the Caregiver Support Program; provides personal care, nursing, social services, meals, and therapeutic activities.

PENN MEMORY CENTER TIME TOGETHER PROGRAM: community-based program where Philadelphia college students provide high quality, low-cost respite care to families supporting an older adult, including those with physical or cognitive impairments. PCA CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM: provides financial assistance to reimburse caregiving services as well as legal and financial counseling. Support is provided on a sliding scale based on household income of the person receiving care. To qualify, care recipient must be age 60+ OR age 18+ with a diagnosis of disability OR a person of any age with dementia AND require assistance with at least one activity of daily living.

NANCY‘S HOUSE: provides restorative retreats for caregivers with a licensed therapist available and help with care at home during your stay. Offers sliding scale fees.
PENN MEMORY CENTER COUNSELING SERVICES: through a social worker, offers up to 8 weeks of supportive counseling for Penn Memory Center patients and their loved ones. Sessions can be in-person, virtual or by phone and are free of charge.

DEPAUL PHILADELPHIA RAPID REHOUSING: provides 12 months of rental assistance through scattered-site units with short-term subsidies and case management assistance and helps people get jobs and maintain their housing.
